Saturday mornings in the shallows,
where little ones meet the ocean for the first time,
with a grown-up right beside them and the sea at its gentlest.
€20
per family · Saturdays · ages 3–8
What’s Included
Tiny wetsuits, tiny boards — gear made for little bodies, so they feel safe and snug from the first splash.
A grown-up in the water too — this is shared. You’re in the shallows with them, making the memory together.
Play first, surf second — no pressure, no drills. Just the sea, some foam, and a lot of giggling.
The gentlest water we’ve got — waist-deep, soft waves, eyes on them the whole time.

Frequently asked questions
Little Surfers is for children aged 3 to 8. It is a gentle first taste of the ocean, built around small children rather than adapted down from an adult lesson.
A grown-up stays in the water with the child throughout. Little Surfers is a shared session for one grown-up and their child, not a class you drop children off at.
Sessions stay in shallow water close to the shore, with the grown-up alongside and an instructor guiding. Because bodysurf uses no boards, there is nothing hard to master and nothing to fall off. The focus is feeling at ease in the water, meeting small waves and enjoying the sea.
Swimsuits for both of you, towels, and sunscreen. We provide the little wetsuits and soft boards. Bring a snack for after, first waves build big appetites
Then we stop, and that’s completely okay. There’s never any pushing. Sometimes the win is just touching the water. The ocean will still be there next Saturday.
Little Surfers runs on Saturday mornings at Praia da Sereia, Costa da Caparica.
If we cancel a session because of the weather or the sea, you receive a credit with no expiry, so you can come another Saturday.
No. Children do not need to be able to swim. Sessions stay in shallow water close to the shore, with a grown-up in the water alongside the whole time and an instructor guiding.
