Frequently asked questions
Bodysurf is riding the wave with your own body, with no board involved. It makes a great celebration because there is no board to master and nothing to fall off, so complete beginners are catching real waves quickly. It is salt water, sunshine and a shared adventure, something your group will remember long after the day.
Yes. We are a bodysurf school at heart, but every celebration is built around your group. Bodysurf, bodyboard or surfboard: your group can mix and match within the same session, so everyone gets the experience they came for.
Birthdays and bachelorette parties are what we do most, but any group looking for a different kind of celebration in the sea is welcome. Tell us what you are marking and we will shape the session around it.
No experience is needed, and you do not need to be a strong swimmer. Sessions are led by experienced instructors who keep everyone at ease, stay close to the shore where needed, and shape the level around your group.
We handle everything: handplane, swim fins and wetsuits, plus boards for anyone who wants to bodyboard or surf, and coaching for the full session. Your group brings swimwear, a towel, sun protection and warm clothes for afterwards.
There is no fixed beach. We come to a beach that works for your group and the conditions on the day, near Lisbon. Sessions are led by Henrique, our founder and a national bodysurf vice-champion, together with the team.
